Artist's Description

The history of weaving the first carpets in the world dates back to the time after the cave.
Because at that time, humans imitated birds and tried to make mats for themselves by weaving soft plant fibers together, such as basket weaving and mat weaving. After hunting the animals and accessing their skin and wool, the mats became a little softer. Archaeological excavations show that the "Borya" texture of the ancestors of the Mesopotamian region has been common since the fifth and fourth millennium BC, and the kilim texture has reached a high stage of development by the fifteenth century BC.
The texture of the first carpet is not exactly known because the carpet fibers are vulnerable to moisture and insect infestation.
However, according to the raw material of carpet, wool, it is believed that the nomadic tribes of Central Asia, whose main occupation was herding, first weaved carpets with wool.
